I Sat by the Tungabhadra by Swati Bhattacharyya (Travelogue)

Life is journey; we all know. We either design it consciously or life just happens. Either way, life presents itself as a myriad of incidents, events, relationships, and opportunities. Some quite memorable and some we want to relegate to corners that we do not want to revisit. But that does not mean they are wiped off; rather it is all these that give shape to what we call life.

Description

Life is journey; we all know. We either design it consciously or life just happens. Either way, life presents itself as a myriad of incidents, events, relationships, and opportunities. Some quite memorable and some we want to relegate to corners that we do not want to revisit. But that does not mean they are wiped off; rather it is all these that give shape to what we call life. Some journeys can be epic; these journeys are noted, talked about, and referred by all. Those are few and far between. However, that does not in any way indicate that other lives are lesser or would have no story. My life is one such; not noteworthy but definitely there are stories.

So this book comprises some selected travels that were unforgettable, people who have crossed my path and left some mark, amusing incidents, experiences that seemed bitter at one point but later appeared as hilarious, and bits and pieces of nostalgia that peep out now and then. As such there is no particular genre that this book adheres to. It is but a buffet from which the reader can choose all or few; as his fancy!
