Description
School Corridor, is my recollection of my golden days of school life. In a student’s life, the sweetest moments generally occur in the corridors where different sections meet. This is the place, where friends hang out, love strikes, teachers give punishments and games are played.
Even after so many years, when I walk on the corridors of my school, I feel we are still there. I hear voices of my friends, calling my name, laughing, shouting, clapping and their footsteps running. Remembering those moments, I feel my heart is still the same. Perhaps most of us have moved on, but I am still struck there. In these poems, I have tried to portray the feelings of a young, restless heart who is happy being with his friends but yearn for a true love. There are several other emotions that are painted here in-between. Perhaps few words are not enough to summarize so many varied emotions. So, I am leaving you guys with this corridor, to walk by yourself and relive those moments again. I hope, somewhere, here and there, you may find yourself…
