Textbook on Livestock Economics is written as per the Veterinary Council of India (VCI) syllabus for undergraduate courses.
The book contains seven chapters. Chapter 1 gives an introduction. Chapter 2 deals with basic concepts including factors of production.
Chapter 3, 4, 5, and 6 are about the theory of demand, supply, costs, and production, respectively. Chapter 7 is about the price determination.
With summary, glossary and model questions appended to each chapter, the book is expected to meet the needs of the BVSc&AH students.
