What is this book and who is this author?

“Other Countries” is a collection of short stories about things that happened in other countries. The things that happened to the author, or to someone he knows, or almost happened, and then, if they happened, they would certainly happen as described.

This is a collection, not necessarily random, of stories that took place in Canada, the Netherlands, the United States, Cyprus, Germany, and also in Africa. But the author is the same man, and those from the stories, people who have not been and have not heard what Israel is, they are also the same, and they are almost completely like us.

In advance it should be announced: not all are facts and reality in these stories. But from the moment things were written down, they definitely happened. There is no point in finding out what is true and what is close, and what is not true, because from this point on, all stories are true.

The stories appeared on HummusCentral.com and Palavra.life. At the end of 2021, the sites ceased to operate.

More stories of the author, such that happen in Israel, at the time and now, that appeared on these late websites and in other places, will appear in the next book: “The rest of the stories”.

Born in Haifa, in the fifties. Since the age of 23, he has been travelling the world and living in all kinds of places, even in Israel. It has stories from here until further notice, including the 38 short stories in this book. Most of them, along with other stories, were uploaded to two websites of the author. In the summer of 2017, the author returned (for the third time) to Canada, maybe this will help something.
