Description
In this book, the importance of historical background of Nagas in general and Sumi Naga in particular is shown. Beliefs and practices play important part in making Naga life complete and they are associated with all their activities. Namely, ’Genas’ are observed during hunting, fishing, disposing of dead bodies, divorce, etc. Nagas have a strong conception of human soul and the existence of the ‘village of dead’ from the foundation of their moral codes.
