Rehmat Ali was born in Mumbai, India, to Ramzu Shaikh and Fatma bi Shaikh. His father is a paper box maker and mother is a housewife. Both are from Kolkata, West Bengal, India. He learned English Literature, Philosophy and History. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Arts from Mumbai University. He is a bilingual writer, writing in both Hindi and English efficiently. He is writing since the age of 16. He is very fond of painting since early childhood and won many awards and appreciation during his school and college time. His first book “Rainbows of Her Memories” was successfully published on December, 2013 through Power Publishers and well received. It is based on an imaginary girl from an imagination world far from this materialistic globe.
