Dr. Katlakanti Mohan Reddy (Dr K M Reddy), is an Associate Professor of Chemistry in the School of Engineering (SoE), University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), P O Bidholi, Energy Acres, Dehradun-248007, Uttarakhand, India. He is working at UPES since 2013 and his primary responsibility is to teach and train young engineers. His teachings ignited many of the young minds with lights of chemistry and engineering chemistry for their life and career. He has 15 years of teaching experience in various organizations like UPES, Jain University, Jain College, Oxford College, Ramaiah College, Venkat International School, etc. His experience in the field of teaching chemistry and mentoring young students reaches to more than 40000+ students in his past experience: and at present, he is guiding four B Tech students, two Masters students and one PhD student for their research project work and course work as well as regular 50+ B Tech Students, 20+ B Sc students and 30+ Masters students for their full course. He is a recipient of the Blackboard Award for the year 2021 in the category of Teaching & Learning. He is also the recipient of the Young Scientist award in the year 2009. He is a life member of the Materials Research Society of India (MRSI), IISc, Bangalore. He is a life member of the Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA). He has published more than 53 research papers in international reputed journals. He has published one international book, participated and presented his research work in more than 40 International and 50 National level conferences, workshops, symposiums, debates and delivered in more than 15 (alongside being invited as a guest speaker) international events. To his credit, he has completed 50 Coursera and 2 edX and 2 QIPs in IITs 25 FDPs including from NITTTRs, SWAYAM, UGC, ARPIT, AICTE programmes. He successfully completed 30 online blended learning certified courses by laureate network Inc., and other online TLC, OLC, MOOCs and LMS programmes. He is an excellent teacher as per the ratings-feedback rendered by his students, very kind and a good researcher as well. He always keeps in touch with his students on social media and over the phone (even with his former students) and has a huge alumni network of the KMReddy student group. His goal is to give a better future to the youth of India and instil values and social responsibilities in which he strongly believes.In accordance to this, all of that would make our country a great place to learn and thrive. He is a philosopher, mentor and guide.
