Description
This book has highlighted R. K. Narayan’s portrayal of women characters in five of his selected novels. It is essentially a critical analysis of how Narayan has projected the marginalised existence of women in his fictional world.
Dr. Barnali Sikder is an assistant professor in the Department of English, Janata College, Serfanguri. Prior to this she was a lecturer in the Department of English, Bongaigaon College, Assam. She is an aspiring writer. The best job she is acquainted with is writing poetry. Womanhood and Marginality: A critical study of R. K. Narayan’s five major novels is her debut book and certainly it does not have any space for those poems she is heading towards publishing.
